Wilmur Construction has been delivering buildings across the North West since 2007, from our base in Prestwich, Manchester.
Our story
Eighteen years of building in the North West.
Wilmur Construction Limited was incorporated in 2007. We started out as a small residential contractor with a handful of local clients and a reputation for finishing on time, which in this industry is worth more than any marketing.
Over the years we have grown carefully. We took on extension work, then full new-build homes. Developers asked us to deliver multi-unit schemes for them. Business owners asked us to fit out their offices, shops and units. We said yes when we could deliver well, and no when we could not.
Today we work across four pillars (new build, extensions, commercial fit-out, developer partnerships) from one Manchester base, with a tight in-house team and a long-standing subcontractor network. The decisions still get made the same way they did in 2007: face to face, with the project in front of us.

Programmes are set realistically at the start, then defended through the build. If something changes, you hear about it from us before it becomes a problem.

Itemised pricing, open-book on variations, no hidden margins layered on subcontractor invoices. The number we quote is the number we work to.

One point of accountability.
Every project has a named lead, from kick-off through to the end of defects. You speak to them, not to a switchboard, and not to a different person every week.
