Who we are
This website is operated by Wilmur Construction Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 06367277, VAT number GB 917 5379 94. Our registered office is 349 Bury Old Road, Prestwich, Manchester, M25 1PY. We are the data controller for personal information submitted through this site.
What we collect and why
We collect personal information from you only when you actively submit it through our contact form or when you email or telephone us directly. The information we collect is limited to:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Project details you choose to share, including approximate location, budget range and timing
We use this information for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and discuss the project you have asked us about. We do not use it for marketing. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR our lawful basis for processing this information is your consent, which you give by completing and submitting the enquiry form and ticking the consent box. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at enquiries@wilmurconstruction.com.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry information for as long as it is relevant to the conversation. If a project goes ahead, this information forms part of the project record and is kept for the lifetime of the contract plus the statutory periods required for tax, building regulations and limitation. If a project does not proceed, we delete the enquiry record within twelve months of the last contact unless you ask us to keep it on file.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
We use Formspree to receive enquiries from this website. Formspree processes your submission on our behalf and stores it briefly in their systems before forwarding it to us. See https://formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/ for their policy.
Where a project proceeds and we need to share project information with subcontractors, statutory bodies (such as Building Control) or our professional advisers (such as our accountants), we share only what is necessary for that purpose.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict how we use it, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@wilmurconstruction.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
